If you're heading out for an adventure, you're going to need some cold watch and snacks. Pick up a backpack cooler, which has ample room for what you'll need while you enjoy the beach. There is an added benefit of freeing up your hands to carry the fun stuff!

The easiest way to reach Playa Bonita by car along route 159. This road connect Playa Panama and Playa Hermosa. You’ll take a north turn towards the Occidental Papagayo Adults Only Resort along Route 255. The beach is just a 1 minute drive from the resort.

Alternatively, you can drive the scenic route which will afford you a stellar view of Playa Panama and the Culebra Bay. You’ll be able to see across the Bay to the Four Seasons Resort from the lookout. This road is closer to Playa Hermosa, just before the Condovac Resort.

Either way, when you arrive at the end of the road you’ll find a guard station for a new development. Park there and you’ll see a fenced path down towards the beach. See the YouTube video for details on this location.
